Norwegian Air International announced (08-Jan-2018) it will introduce free inflight WiFi on its long haul Boeing 787-9 and 737 MAX aircraft from mid Jan-2019. Norwegian was the first carrier to offer free WiFi on all European routes in 2011 and the first European airline to offer live television in 2015. Over 50% of Norwegian's 787-9 fleet is expected to offer inflight connectivity by 2020.
