Perth Airport: First Air New Zealand service from Auckland arrives under bubble arrangements

Perth Airport welcomed (19-Apr-2021) the first Air New Zealand nonstop service from Auckland under new safe travel arrangements. Perth Airport CEO Kevin Brown said the airport implemented a 'Green Zone' to segregate passenger processing, to mitigate the cross contamination of passengers who have travelled from 'Red Zone' locations. Mr Brown stated: "This is a big step for Western Australia's COVID-19 recovery and it's essential that we all take the extra time to make sure we've got it right… We will be working closely with our airline partner Air New Zealand as passenger numbers increase as demand grows".
