Philippine Airlines in support of 'green lane' proposal for vaccinated travellers

Philippine Airlines president and CEO Gilbert Santa Maria reported the carrier is in support of a 'green lane' proposal for vaccinated international travellers (Inquirer, 26-May-2021). Mr Santa Maria stated: "A good number of our passengers flying in from the [US] have completed their full vaccine doses". He said: "We could welcome more travellers from the US and other countries with favourable epidemiological situations, such as Singapore, Australia, Israel and [South Korea]". Mr Santa Maria added: "To fuel domestic tourism recovery, we should also strive for more air connectivity and a standardised set of travel guidelines and health protocols".
