Philippines AirAsia CEO Ricky Isla reported the carrier is applying for a permit from Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to transport dangerous goods and COVID-19 vaccines (Phil Star, 08-Feb-2021). Mr Isla stated: "We are very interested and we would like to help the country transport via air travel our vaccines not only to Metro Manila, but Metro Manila going to the provinces where we fly".
