Philippines government eases travel restrictions from 01-Feb-2021

Philippines' presidential spokesperson Harry Roque reported the country plans to relax travel restrictions placed on countries with cases of the new COVID-19 variant, effective 01-Feb-2021 (Hindustan Times/CTV News/TTR Weekly, 29/31-Jan/03-Feb-2021). The travel restrictions will be eased for over 30 countries including the US, Canada, China, Japan and Australia. Incoming passengers must still have a valid and existing visa and must have prebooked accommodation for at least seven nights in an accredited quarantine hotel. They must also undergo COVID-19 testing at the hotel on the sixth day from the date of arrival.
