Port Hedland Airport GM Rod Evans reported the airport is scheduled to commence a AUD25 million (USD17.1 million) terminal refurbishment in Feb-2020 (Australian Financial Review, 23-Jan-2020). Mr Evans said: "We're very much linked to the iron ore market… We are seeing an upturn. The initial repurpose [of the existing building] will enable us in the future to upgrade if there's a massive upturn".
