Qantas Airways adds new services from Darwin to Far North Queensland

Qantas Airways announced (14-Oct-2021) plans to launch Darwin-Townsville and Darwin-Cairns services in early 2022. The new routes follow Qantas' announcement that the airline will temporarily operate its service from Australia to London via Darwin when international services resume in Nov-2021, until at least Apr-2022. QantasLink will operate three weekly frequencies on each route with the Embraer E190 regional jet equipment.
