Qantas and Emirates extend business partnership until 2028

4 October, 2021

Qantas Airways and Emirates signed (04-Oct-2021) an agreement to extend their joint business partnership for a further five years, from Mar-2023 to 2028. The carriers will seek re-authorisation from relevant regulators, including the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, to continue core elements of the partnership. These include coordination of pricing, schedules, sales and tourism marketing on approved routes until 2028. The deal includes an option to renew for a further five years beyond that. The partnership gives Emirates customers access to around 55 Australian destinations that Emirates does not fly to. Qantas customers are able to fly on Emirates to Dubai and access around 50 cities in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa that Qantas does not fly to. [more - original PR]
