Qantas Group brings forward select international service resumption from Sydney

Qantas Group announced (22-Oct-2021) plans to bring forward the restart of more international services to popular destinations from Sydney. The updated international schedule published today also includes:

  • Sydney-Singapore: Qantas service to resume on 23-Nov-2021, four weeks earlier than scheduled, operating three times weekly with A330 equipment. Frequency will ramp up to daily from 18-Dec-2021. Jetstar will operate from Melbourne and Darwin to Singapore from 16-Dec-2021;
  • Sydney-Nadi: Qantas service will be brought forward to 07-Dec-2021 from 19-Dec-2021. Four times weekly frequency will be operated by Boeing 737 equipment. Jetstar services to Fiji will resume on 17-Dec-2021;
  • Sydney-Johannesburg: Qantas service will resume on 05-Jan-2022, three months earlier than scheduled. Three weekly frequencies will be operated by Boeing 787 equipment;
  • Sydney-Bangkok: Qantas service will resume on 14-Jan-2022, more than two months earlier than scheduled. Five weekly frequencies will be operated by A330 equipment;
  • Sydney-Phuket: Jetstar flights will resume on 12-Jan-2022, more than two months earlier than scheduled. Three weekly frequencies will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft. [more - original PR]
