18 June, 2020

CAPA - Centre for Aviation chief financial analyst Jonathan Wober, speaking on the CAPA Masterclass: Market airline capacity projections: contrasting Asia Pacific and Europe, stated (17-Jun-2020) the re-expansion and recovery phase following the coronavirus crisis "could be a lot more challenging" for European airlines. Mr Wober noted the reintroduction of capacity by airlines will result in greater costs compared to the shut down period and the degree to which revenue will return remains unknown.
