Rome Fiumicino Airport resumed (06-Aug-2021) commercial operations from Terminal 1, following renovation completed during its closure since Mar-2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new configuration allows the airport to handle an additional 17,000 passengers with social distancing measures enforced.
