Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade expects a supersonic business jet could be designed in seven to eight years if the groundwork on the engine is completed (TASS/RIA Novosti/Kommersant, 29-Jan-2018). Domestic demand is forecast at up to 30 aircraft for USD100 million to USD120 million each. The Ministry of Industry and Trade considers there is also potential for exports.
