Ryanair ancillaries increase to 48% of total revenue in 4Q2020, easyJet grows to 28.5%

    CAPA – Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: ‘RyanaireasyJetWizz AirEurope‘s LCCs eye recovery after tough 4Q’, stated (05-Feb-2021) passenger numbers decreased 87% for easyJet and 77% for Ryanair in 4Q2020. Revenue declines accelerated from 3Q2020, with easyJet revenue declining most heavily. easyJet has the lowest share of revenue from ancillaries, but this grew to 28.5% in 4Q2020, from 21.1% a year earlier, while Ryanair‘s ancillaries grew from 37.8% to 48.0%.
