San Francisco International Airport launches COVID-19 variant monitoring programme

San Francisco International Airport, via its official Twitter account, announced (14-Jul-2021) it partnered with CA Public Health to launch a pilot programme to monitor for COVID-19 variants. Under the programme, participating international passengers will be provided two free rapid testing kits and a PCR testing kit upon arrival at the airport, with any positive tests results to be sent to a state laboratory for further inspection. The programme is expected to run until mid Aug-2021.
