Serko launches Zeno Experience Centre to coincide with ASX listing

26 June, 2018

To coincide with its dual listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) yesterday, Serko launched its new initiative, the Zeno Experience Centre at its Sydney headquarters. The hub is designed to allow corporate travel managers to immerse themselves in new technologies for the travel and expense world developed by Serko.

According to Serko, the corporate travel world is undergoing an intensive period of change and development, with the adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, chatbots, and New Distribution Capability (NDC). The landscape for business travel is changing, opening up new opportunities to optimise travel spend, improve traveller experience and provide greater control and compliance with travel policies.

The Zeno Experience Centre is a physical space designed to help travel, procurement and finance leaders achieve a greater level of understanding of these disruptive technologies and gain insight into how they can add value to their corporate travel program.

Serko CEO Darrin Grafton said: "This technology took three years to develop and we know there's truly nothing like it in the world. We have set up the Zeno Experience Centre to provide our customers with the ability to test out this new technology in an inspiring environment, and to take innovative ideas back to their teams."

Launched into market in 2018, Zeno is an integrated travel management and expense platform that will transform the way corporate customers around the world make and change travel arrangements. Intelligent journey planning and best fare access to airlines, hotels, transfers and car rental in a single interface provides the most cost-effective door to door travel experience for corporate travel.

The Centre features the interior of a plane with video explanations of the ease of using the platform and the latest large format Microsoft Surface touch screen devices to allow customers to trial the technology.

Dual listing on the ASX

The Experience Centre was launched on the same day Serko was dual listed on the ASX. Serko announced it had commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker SKO, with Mr Grafton stating: "Listing on the ASK has been a long-time ambition of ours, and represents a significant milestone in Serko's growth into an organisation with global scale. Being dual-listed will give us access to a larger pool of investors and analysts and build awareness of the company's performance and growth opportunities".

Speaking at the Serko ASX Bell Ringing Ceremony, Mr Grafton discussed the 11 year plan to reach the milestone, adding "Serko is a business on a journey". "ASX listing is the next step of our strategy, which will see us become a leader in the corporate travel industry," continued Mr Grafton.
