Shellharbour Airport, via its official Facebook account, stated (12-Feb-2021) the airport held the official launch of its new terminal on 11-Feb-2021 and it is scheduled to open to the public on 18-Feb-2021. The new facility has provisions for retail and café space, capacity for 200 passengers, the ability to handle large commercial aircraft and a 60kw solar system.
