Singapore revises border measures for business travel pass scheme

11 February, 2021

Singapore's Ministry of Health announced (09-Feb-2021) plans to revise border measures for the business travel pass (BTP) scheme introduced in Jun-2020. BTP travellers will undergo a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival, in lieu of a stay home notice, and are required to be isolated in a single location until they obtain a negative result. As an additional measure, travellers on this scheme are now required to undergo COVID-19 PCR tests on day three, day seven and day 14 of their return. The BTP scheme was launched to facilitate essential business travel for senior executives based in Singapore with regional or international responsibilities who need to travel regularly for work.
