Skymark Airlines to launch Saipan services from Narita and Nagoya in Dec-2019

    Skymark Airlines announced (19-Sep-2019) plans to launch the following services to Saipan International Airport in Dec-2019:

    • Tokyo Narita: Daily;
    • Nagoya: Twice weekly.

    With a flight time of approximately three and a half hours, both routes will be the only nonstop services from Japan to Saipan. As previously reported by CAPA, Japan Airlines‘ withdrew from the Northern Mariana Islands market in 2005. The US external territory’s Governor Ralph Torres is also lobbying United Airlines to operate Japan-Saipan services.
