South Korean airline cargo down 17% in Aug-2021, compared to Aug-2019

    South Korea‘s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) reported (08-Sep-2021) the following cargo highlights for Aug-2021:

    • Cargo: 299,595 tonnes, -17.3% compared to Aug-2019;
      • Domestic: 16,637 tonnes, -30.2%;
        • Korean Air: 5906 tonnes, -36.0%;
        • Asiana Airlines: 3129 tonnes, -47.1%;
        • Jin Air: 1967 tonnes, -4.2%;
        • JEJU Air: 1948 tonnes, -5.9%;
        • T’way Air: 1624 tonnes, -24.9%;
        • Air Busan: 1460 tonnes, -24.2%;
        • Air Seoul: 412 tonnes;
        • Aero K: 67 tonnes;
        • Air Premia: 66 tonnes;
        • Fly Gangwon: 59 tonnes;
      • International: 282,958, -16.4%;
        • South Korean airlines: 199,457 tonnes, -10.1%; 
          • Korean Air: 138,337 tonnes, +8.9%;
          • Asiana Airlines: 58,397 tonnes, -18.8%;
          • Air Incheon: 2156 tonnes, +233%;
          • JEJU Air: 356 tonnes, -95.3%;
          • T’way Air: 66 tonnes, 98.2%;
          • Jin Air: 65 tonnes, -98.6%;
          • Air Seoul: 57 tonnes, -95.9%;
          • Air Busan: 24 tonnes, -99.0%;
        • Foreign Airlines: 83,500 tonnes, -28.5%.
