SpiceJet chairman and MD Ajay Singh reported the LCC is exploring plans to launch international services to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and destinations in mainland China and the Commonwealth of Independent States in Eastern Europe in 2019 (TNN/The Hindu BusinessLine/Travel Biz Monitor, 12-Feb-2019). Mr Singh said SpiceJet will operate these services with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
