Sri Lanka to terminate temporary prohibition on international arrivals from 01-Jun-2021

Civil Aviation Authority Sri Lanka (CAASL), via its official Twitter account, announced (26-May-2021) plans to terminate its temporary prohibition on the arrival of international passengers to Sri Lanka from 01-Jun-2021 (Colombo Page, 26-May-2021). CAASL will maintain the following restrictions on international arrivals from 01-Jun-2021:

  • Each arriving flight only permitted to carry a maximum of 75 passengers;
  • Passengers from India or who have travelled through India within the past 14 days prohibited to enter Sri Lanka;
  • All arriving passengers will be subject to a 14 day quarantine period.
