US' St Clair County Public Building Commission unanimously approved a 20 year lease agreement between MidAmerica St Louis Airport and Boeing on 31-Aug-2021, with three 20 year renewal options (Belleville News-Democrat, 01-Sep-2021). The OEM is planning to develop a 34 acre land parcel to expand its defence and aerospace operations at the airport, and has pledged to stimulate significant job creation in the area as a result.
