After 11 years working in front line service delivery for one of the big four banks, I began my career with the Department of Finance (Finance) in 2000, initially as a vehicle resource allocator with COMCAR, the Commonwealth’s car-with-driver service.

Over my nearly two decades with Finance, I have undertaken a variety of challenging and diverse roles, including; whole of government procurement and contract sustainment for a varied range of goods and services, managing the entitlements framework for federal parliamentarians and project and facilities manager of the Ministerial Wing at Parliament House.

I possess specialist skills and a keen personal interest and investment in:

  • delivering efficient and value for money outcomes in procurement and contract sustainment for the Australian Government;
  • extrapolating value for money for the Commonwealth through excellent Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) procurements guided by the Commonwealth Procurement Rules;
  • personal attributes of calmness, professionalism, and the ability to enjoy work;
  • encouraging personal investment, growth and development through continual personal expansion and renewal, and capability building.

I have attained formal qualifications in procurement, contract and category management and project management.
