Taiwan and Palau announce travel bubble

Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center announced (17-Mar-2021) plans to launch a travel bubble with Palau. Effective 01-Apr-2021, travel agencies will be permitted to organise group tours to Palau and receive tour groups from Palau (The China Post, 17-Mar-2021). Two weekly frequencies between Taiwan and Palau will be permitted initially, with each frequency arriving in Taiwan permitted to transport up to 110 passengers. The limit on the number of passengers and other related details will be adjusted on a rolling basis based on the effectiveness of the scheme and pandemic developments. Tour groups travelling from Taiwan to Palau must undergo COVID-19 PCR testing at the airport before departure.
