TAP reduces operations by 93% in Feb-2021, anticipated reduction to stand at 73%

TAP Air Portugal announced (31-Jan-2021) the suspension of 93% of operations during Feb-2021 compared to Feb-2020. The decision is due to flight and passenger movement restrictions by Portugal's Government and other governments. The reduction is 20pp higher than the 73% reduction expected for Feb-2021, as set out in the prior flight plan before the recent restrictions imposed to air transportation. TAP will continue to assure national air mobility between Lisbon, Porto, Madeira and Azores. It will also provide international air connection to cities with relevant Portuguese communities, such as Newark, Boston, Toronto, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, Amsterdam, Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Luxembourg, Paris, Nice, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, Milan, Rome, Bissau, Conakry, Dakar, Maputo, Praia, São Vicente and São Tomé and Príncipe.
