Thai Airways could lease aircraft and outsource cabin crew as part of turnaround

Thailand's Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob reported Thai Airways may consider leasing aircraft and outsourcing cabin attendants as part of fleet and service improvement options (Bangkok Post, 23-Jan-2020). Mr Chidchob requested the carrier weigh the pros and cons of either leasing the planes with the outsourced crew, or leasing only the aircraft, in line with its budget plan and flight routes.
