Thailand to resume select domestic flights at 75% capacity from 01-Sep-2021

Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand reported plans to permit select domestic flights to and from Bangkok and other high risk regions to resume from 01-Sep-2021 (Reuters/Bangkok Post, 29-Aug-2021). Carriers will be able to operate flights at up to 75% capacity, with passengers to present proof of vaccination and negative COVID-19 test results. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport will not require incoming passengers to go through health screening. Thailand plans to ease restrictions in 29 provinces from Sep-2021, with government stating it expects to have 140 million vaccine doses in 2021.
