Thales selected to prepare France for the New Schengen Area entry/exit system

Thales announced (22-Mar-2021) its selection by the French Ministry of the Interior to prepare the country for the new Schengen Area entry/exit system and deliver several hundred pre-registration kiosks at various border crossing points. The system allows third-country nationals to be pre-registered and have their identity securely verified in less than one minute, including their biometric data (fingerprint and facial biometrics).
