Tigerair Taiwan to debut on Taipei Exchange Emerging Stock Board on 16-Dec-2019

Tigerair Taiwan spokesperson Bernard Hsu said the LCC will debut its shares on the Taipei Exchange's Emerging Stock Board at TWD41 (USD1.36) per share on 16-Dec-2019, becoming the first LCC in Taiwan to be listed (Taipei Times, 11-Dec-2019). Mr Hsu said that trading on the Emerging Stock Market, a preparatory board for Taiwan's two main exchanges, is restricted to securities firms, therefore the company's shares would not be open to public subscription. The LCC plans to shift its shares to the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 4Q2020.
