Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport on track to open trade distribution centre in 2021

Queensland's Government announced (16-Feb-2021) construction is underway on the Toowoomba Wellcamp Trade Distribution Centre at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport and the facility is on course to be operational by the end of 2021. The facility will feature 4000sqm of floor area, including 1500sqm of temperature controlled zones. The Queensland Government is investing AUD10 million (USD7.7 million) to support the regional trade hub. Queensland's Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning Steven Miles said the centre "will supercharge airfreight access for agricultural producers in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region".
