Toronto Pearson International opens new customs and security screening facilities at Terminal 1

Toronto Pearson International Airport, via its official website and Twitter account, announced (07-Sep-2021) it opened new customs and security screening facilities for Terminal 1 connections. Changes include touchless electronic gates which will allow passengers to scan documents and verify their identity automatically, new oversized facilities for both Canada Border Services Agency and Canadian Air Transport Security Authority security screening and plexiglass barriers to provide distance at interaction points.
