Tourism Australia aiming to ‘get Australians to travel like international tourists’

    Tourism Australia GM domestic and New Zealand Andrew Hutchinson stated (02-Jun-2021) the organisation’s “overarching domestic strategy is to get Australians to travel like international tourists do”, which includes longer travel and increased spend. Mr Hutchinson said Tourism Australia’s “key focus” is on areas which previously relied on international travel, including “capital cities, Cairns, parts of Tropical North Queensland, The Gold Coast and The Great Ocean Road to name a few”.
