Tourism Australia launches 'UnDiscover' USD7m 'high value' Southeast Asia tourism campaign

Tourism Australia, via its official website, announced (03-Sep-2018) the launch of its 'UnDiscover' AUD10 million (USD7.2 million) campaign to target "high value" travellers from India, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Australia's Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Simon Birmingham said the markets account for more than 1.3 million international arrivals p/a and input more than AUD5 billion (USD3.6 billion) to the Australian economy, adding "further opportunity to expand the region's tourism potential" exists.
