TTF calls for next Queensland government to make commitment to tourism and infrastructure

Tourism & Transport Forum Australia (TTF) issued (03-Nov-2017) a call for the next Queensland Government to boost the state's visitor economy and "secure Queensland's transport future" by: The plan calls on the next Queensland Government to:

  • Increase funding for destination marketing to AUD150 million (USD114.7 million);
  • Establish a separate business events fund of AUD10 million (USD7.6 million) p/a;
  • Invest in critical nature-based tourism infrastructure;
  • Commit to critical road and rail infrastructure projects across the state;
