United Airlines to operate 44% of schedule in Nov-2020

United Airlines announced (02-Oct-2020) plans to resume nearly 30 international services from Nov-2020, bringing the carrier's schedule to 44% of its schedule in Nov-2020 (up 4pp from Oct-2020), with an international schedule operation of 38% (up 6pp from Oct-2020). United Airlines VP of international network and alliances Patrick Quayle explained: "For the month of November, we have adjusted our capacity to add flying for leisure travel to warm weather and beach destinations in Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean, along with 'visiting friends and relatives' travel across the globe". United will add 26 services across Latin America/Caribbean in Nov-2020, including the resumption of three times weekly Houston-Santiago (Chile) service, three times weekly Houston-Rio de Janeiro service and service to Antigua, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Managua, Nassau, Saint Lucia and Roatan. Service will be expanded on more than 20 services to beach destinations in Mexico, including new service to Acapulco and Zihuatanejo, as well as expanded service to Cancun, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.
