US Department of Transportation (DoT) released (25-Oct-2020) the Air Travel Consumer Report for Jul-2020, which found the following details regarding complaints:
- Airline service: 11,117 complaints, +493.2% year-on-year and -30.3% from Jun-2020. Of these complaints, 10,257 were regarding refunds;
- Disabled passenger treatment: 48, down from 104 in Jul-2019 and up from 28 in Jun-2020;
- Discrimination: Five, down from 12 in Jul-2019 and equal to the five recorded in Jun-2020. [more – original PR]
