VietJet Air: Costs kept 'well under control' in 1H2021

VietJet Air announced (20-Sep-2021) it kept costs "well under control" in 1H2021 via a series of renovation, innovation and creativity programmes and solutions to cut costs. The average operating costs per flying hour was down by 71% while the costs of sales and administration declined by 30% year-on-year. In efforts to catch up with the 4.0 industry trend, the carrier is focusing on digital transformation to develop systems while facilitating cargo transport and optimising flight operations.
