Volaris ancillary revenue represents 48% of total operating revenue in 4Q2020

    Volaris reported (18-Feb-2021) a 16.9% year-on-year reduction in operating revenues in 4Q2020. Ancillary revenues increased by 21.4%. Total ancillary revenues per passenger increased by 43.3% year over year. Total ancillary revenues represented 48% of total operating revenues, a 15.2pp increase. The airline said it was able to ramp up capacity (ASM) to 94.9% in 4Q2020, compared to the same period of the prior year.
