Vueling obtains 18 daily slots from Air France at Paris Orly Airport under EU state aid decision

Vueling obtained (20-Sep-2021) 18 daily take off and landing slots at Paris Orly Airport from Air France, a result of the measures included following the European Commission's 05-Apr-2021 decision to approve French state aid of EUR4 billion for the carrier's recapitalisation. Approval was granted provided France implemented additional measures to ensure effective competition. Assisted by the Monitoring Trustee appointed by Air France, the Commission assessed carriers by prioritising those operating a base at Paris Orly and the capacity and connectivity that would be achieved using the available slots.
