Vueling pushing digitalisation as solutions for ‘more diverse and sustainable tourism landscape’

    Vueling reported it is adapting to a “more diverse and sustainable tourism landscape” by continuing to roll out more digital solutions, and intends to use its digital transformation “as a lever for the reactivation of tourism and for a unique flight experience for users” (hosteltur.com, 31-May-2021). The carrier is adopting forwards looking technology solutions such as biometric identification for passengers, automated and robotic customer service at airport check-in and for boarding, virtual reality interfaces and contactless customer service.
