Wagners proposes to build quarantine facility 'from the ground up' near Toowoomba Wellcamp

Wagners chairman John Wagner submitted a proposal for a 1000 room quarantine facility for inbound travellers, where "We can get them off the plane and be in their accommodation facility in less than five minutes" near Toowoomba West Wellcamp Airport (ABC, 25-Jan-2021). Mr Wagner said the facility "would be a very tightly controlled environment" and include an additional 300 rooms for employees working at the site. Mr Wagner said: "Up here in Toowoomba, we work 24 hours a day, seven days a week" and expects the facility "would be built from the ground up in the next four to five weeks".
