Wellington Airport: Wellington first to receive Fiji Airways new 737 MAX 8

    Fiji Airways stated (27-Jul-2018) it plans to deploy new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on twice weekly Nadi-Wellington sector in Dec-2018, with Wellington to become the first destination in New Zealand to receive the carrier’s new aircraft type, according to Wellington Airport. Fiji Airways MD and CEO Andre Viljoen stated: “We’re excited to announce Wellington as the first airport in New Zealand to receive our brand new B737 MAX 8 aircraft after it arrives factory-fresh”.
