WestJet introduces opportunity for pax to upgrade to Business or Premium cabin

WestJet, via its official blog, reported (20-Sep-2019) passengers are now able to place an offer for an opportunity to upgrade their seat to Business or Premium cabin on available services. By submitting an offer to upgrade, subsequent to booking a flight and up to 120 hours before departure, passengers will have their offer either confirmed or denied. Passengers' credit card will be charged upon acceptance of their offer. If the upgrade is accepted, the fare conditions of the original ticket will remain unchanged, while the baggage allowance will be increased to match the upgraded cabin. [more - original PR]
