Will Rogers World Airport to open USD90m terminal wing in mid Sep-2021

Will Rogers World Airport, via its official website, announced (13-Sep-2021) plans to open a new terminal wing on 15-Sep-2021 following a USD90 million, two year construction project in collaboration with architecture and engineering firm FSB (The Oklahoman, 13-Sep-2021). The 133,000sqft facility will feature four new gates, a customs area, an eight lane security checkpoint and lounges; as well as upgraded amenities and concession spaces. The project will also allow the airport to add another six gates in future. FSB principal civic & education markets John Semtner stated: "We haven't been able to bring in international flights since 9/11 because we didn't have a hold area for customs, so we built those... We're adding the world back to Will Rogers World Airport".
