Unveiling CTC's Journey and Vision

Established in June 2019 by CAPA – Centre for Aviation, CTC – the Corporate Travel Community – is a network of corporate travel buyers and other personnel who manage their organisation's travel portfolios. CTC is part of Informa, whose Informa Markets division runs hundreds of events and trade shows around the world under more than 550 B2B brands. This allows CTC to uniquely connect with travel buyers and travel managers beyond the reach of traditional corporate travel industry associations.

CTC’s mission is simple: to help corporate travel buyers progress in their roles and careers, by providing them with information, data and networking opportunities. The CTC – Corporate Travel Community meets regularly for training, social events, seminars and summits across Asia's major business centres and is governed by two advisory councils, consisting of senior corporate travel executives from leading local organisations and multinational blue-chip corporations with physical presence in Asia or Australasia.

Dr. Benson Tang, Executive Director

Dr Benson Tang

Benson's remarkable career in travel started more than 25 years ago.

For over a decade he oversaw Goldman Sachs' Asian travel program as Executive Director, before being appointed Regional Director Asia for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). Benson joined the Corporate Travel Community in April 2019.

His extensive knowledge of the corporate travel sector has made him a sought-after speaker, lecturer and thought leader in the Asia-Pacific region.

Benson has a vast network of industry contacts and is passionate about knowledge sharing and best practice.

He thrives on the creation of innovative tools and solutions that enable peers and stakeholders to excel in their roles.

Marco Navarria, Content & Marketing Director

Marco Navarria

Marco Navarria is the Content & Marketing Director for the Corporate Travel Community.

A background in communications, marketing and PR within the Aviation, Tourism and Corporate Travel sectors ensure a perfect fit for meeting the needs of CTC’s audience. Based in Sydney, Australia, he manages CTC’s global analyst and marketing teams spread across Asia, the Americas, UK and Europe. He has direct influence over the content output across all areas of CTC’s key functions including event agendas, analysis, research publications, TV and the entirety of CAPA – Centre for Aviation content.

Marco aims to provide clear direction to CTC’s publications on how to maximise opportunities while still delivering thought provoking and innovative content. As the Content & Marketing Director, Marco will liaise with key external stakeholders to ensure CTC content is relevant and interesting to our audience.

Claudia Kunz, Commercial Director

Claudia Kunz

Claudia Kunz is CAPA’s Commercial Director, looking after CAPA membership as well as the CAPA and CTC calendar of events. Claudia brings a vast experience in the travel and hospitality industry and holds an MBA in Tourism Management.

For the last 15 years she has been planning, executing and strategizing events for big multinational companies. Delivering events that stand out and delegates will remember for a long time is Claudia’s prime goal and together with her team of event professionals she is looking forward to growing and bringing the Corporate Travel Community events to life in 2023.
