Asian economic hub growing into vibrant global tourism destination

"Singapore is a trendsetting city that has evolved from an Asian economic hub into a vibrant global tourism destination," explains Garth Simmons, chief executive officer of Accor, Southeast Asia, Japan & South Korea, and thus makes it "the perfect setting" for the Pullman brand.

The brand has a history that dates back more than 150 years, but now attracts a new generation of digital nomads, millennial globetrotters, and business professionals. This new addition to the portfolio will "deliver bold and creative stays, surrounded by world-class dining and shopping venues," says Mr Simmons.

Taking its cue from its metropolitan location, Pullman Singapore Orchard's signature spaces are designed to celebrate the fashion powerhouses that surround it with the 326 fashion-inspired rooms and suites coming in nine configurations, ranging from the Classic Rooms to the Presidential Suite, and are fully automated so guests can customise every part of the ambiance, including the lighting and temperature.

Ideal for curious explorers, the 270-room property is situated on Tyrwhitt Road, which is lined with traditional shop-houses, specialty coffee shops, boutique cafés and urban artworks. It is also just a few minutes' walk from Bendemeer MRT station, providing easy access to the cultural hubs of Haji Lane and Little India, Orchard Road, and the attractions of Marina Bay.

Pullman property to also arrive in Phuket

Accor has also confirmed that one of Phuket's largest and most popular beachfront resorts will soon be rebranded as Pullman Phuket Arcadia Karon Beach Resort, introducing a premium hotel experience to the destination.

Scheduled to open in Apr-2023, a phased renovation project will take place over the next 24 months to modernise the resort in line with Pullman's brand markers that are centred around immersive art and design, technology-enabled spaces and wellbeing.
