Americas appointment highlights of the month – January/February 2019

Here are the key executive changes for January/February 2019;

  • Hudson Group appointed Roger Fordyce as CEO, effective 08-Jan-2019. Mr Fordyce succeeds Joseph DiDomizio who is leaving the company to pursue other interests;
  • Stellar Partners announced Susan Stackhouse plans to retire from the position of CEO. Ms Stackhouse was replaced by Stellar Partners president and COO Padraig Drennan;
  • Interjet appointed William Shaw as CEO, effective 15-Jan-2019. Mr Shaw succeeds José Luis Garza who set to join Interjet's board of directors;
  • Detroit Metropolitan Airport announced Wayne County Airport Authority appointed Chad Newton as CEO of the airport, effective 17-Jan-2019;
  • CommutAir appointed Richard Hoefling as president and CEO, effective 01-Feb-2019;
  • Infraero announced the appointment of Martha Seillier as president, effective 17-Jan-2019;
  • FedEx appointed president and COO David J Bronczek to the board, effective 28-Jan-2019;
  • Flybondi appointed Sebastian Pereira as CEO on 15-Feb-2019;
  • Avianca Brazil will appoint Jorge Vianna as CEO, replacing Frederico Pedreira;
  • Avianca Cargo appointed Kurt Schosinsky as MD, effective Feb-2019;
  • Flycana appointed Frederik Jacobsen as CEO on 11-Feb-2019;
  • FedEx Corporation appointed Raj Subramaniam as president and COO, effective 01-Mar-2019;
  • Delta Air Lines appointed Tim Mapes as chief marketing and communications officer, effective 01-May-2019;
  • Eastern Airlines appointed Steven E Harfst as president and CEO, effective 28-Feb-2019;
  • Corporación América Airports appointed director Máximo Luis Bomchil as chairman effective immediately. Eduardo Eurnekian submitted his resignation as chairman and board member effective 26-Feb-2019;
  • Volaris appointed Carolyn Prowse as CCO, effective 16-Mar-2019, reporting directly to EVP commercial and operations Holger Blankenstein.
