The Indian airport has picked up the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Best Airport Arrivals Award for 2019. The awards recognise the airports around the world that deliver the best customer experience in the opinion of their own passengers.
While we tend to focus on the departure segment for airport quality due to the longer time and more facets of the customer experience, an airport arrival experience is equally as important, as both affect the overall passenger experience. This year actually marks the first time that an Arrivals Award has been presented as part of Airports Council International’s (ACI) airport service quality passenger service and benchmarking programme.
