The subsidiary of flag carrier Garuda Indonesia, Citilink has now added two Airbus A330-900neo aircraft to its fleet on lease from Avolon. The first was delivered in early Dec-2019 and the second in the middle of Jan-2020 and each is configured with 42 premium economy and 323 economy seats.
The new widebodies are initially being used on local flights, mainly Jakarta – Medan, but also to operate into Saudi Arabia. The airline plans to use the aircraft to expand its network into new markets and has preliminary filed schedules to commence a daily Jakarta – Tokyo Narita service from 02-May-2020 and a four times weekly Denpasar – Jakarta – Frankfurt link from 02-Jun-2020.

Established in 2001, Citilink is a low-cost airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The carrier is a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia and was set up to operate shuttle services between Indonesian cities.
