The airline says it has sold close to 200,000 tickets since the launch of its #SummerwithLOT international travel campaign at the end of Jun-2020 and CEO Rafał Milczarski confirms the carrier plans to further develop its holiday offering due to the strong interest.
It resumed international operations at the start of July having suspended the majority of its flights in March to support measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and is now working to restore full operational capacity. According to Mr Milczarski, just a few weeks after the resumption of passenger flights it has now “restored almost 70% of the destinations planned for 2020".
